Çokyaşar Holding, whose foundations were laid by Ahmet Çokyaşar in 1973, plays a leading role in the steel wire industry by producing value-added products in the field of wire and wire products together with its affiliated companies and exporting to more than 70 countries in 6 continents.
Çokyaşar Holding, headquartered in Istanbul, makes a difference by taking a leading role with its innovative vision and adds value to the Turkish and world economy, thanks to its production facilities in three different locations in Türkiye, Silivri/Istanbul, Düzce, Adana and abroad in Elbasan/Albania.
It is among the highest capacity steel wire producers in Turkey, producing more than 297 thousand tons* of steel wire annually.
It employs more than 900 people, drawing its strength from its innovative, dynamic and customer-oriented employees, with the experience and expertise gained from being in the production of industrial products for more than half a century. Being aware of the responsibility arising from its contributions to the Turkish economy with this employment, it continues its mission in the sector and provides the best service to Turkey and the World.
Özyaşar Tel, one of the holding companies, is among Türkiye's second 500 exporting industry (ISO) companies with its exports and is on the list of Türkiye's largest 500 companies in the Fortune 500 Türkiye 2023 Research.
Çokyaşar Holding actively struggles to reduce environmental impacts and acts with the awareness that protecting nature is one of its most important duties. Thanks to the solar power projects implemented in Çokyaşar Tel and Çokyaşar Halat factories, 20 - 40% of the energy consumption of the factories is provided from renewable energy sources. This rate is equivalent to planting 67,398 red pine trees per year, with a total CO2 reduction of 1,592,707 kg/year.
With the Advanced Technology Water Purification Facility located in the Özyaşar Tel production facility, wastewater is largely recycled and reused.
Without ignoring our responsibilities towards nature, we strive for sustainable production with energy management documents and projects in all our production facilities. Carbon emissions are measured in all Company factories and efforts are being carried out to become a factory exempt from the EU Border Carbon Tax (Scope 1+2+3). In return for these efforts, we will be publishing our first sustainability report in 2024.
Özyaşar Tel, one of Çokyaşar Holding companies, was offered to the public as of May 29, 2024 and is traded on Borsa Istanbul. Our public offering is an indication of our commitment to financial transparency and accountability. This step not only increased the growth potential of our company, but also provided our shareholders with the opportunity to create value through a broader investor base.
In addition, we continue to grow with continuous development and innovation by adhering to strong corporate governance principles. We continue our activities focused on long-term success with our transparent management approach and sustainability principles.
